Youngsters aim to launch new cricket team

WALSALL YPF CC are inviting youngsters to turn up for coaching sessions as they look to create a youth team ahead of the coming cricket season.

The Sutton Road side are holding indoor nets and practice sessions in the sports hall at Alumwell Business and Enterprise College on Saturdays.

The sessions run from 3.30 to 5pm and the club will begin outdoor practice too when the weather is suitable.

YPF aim to enter an under-10s team in the West Midlands Youth League this season and have already had a good response with plenty of youngsters enjoying the sessions.
