'We deserved something from meeting with Telford'
To lose the game, having played reasonably well, was very frustrating and it hurt.
But, at the end of the day, we cannot let one defeat ruin our season and I'm sure that we won't.
We have to be big enough to bounce back – as we have done from other defeats this season – and hopefully we will do just that starting with Vauxhall Motors this weekend.
Looking back at the Telford game, I thought that, before and after their goal, we were the better side throughout.
We created chances and moved the ball around okay but, in the end, if you don't take your opportunities, you finish up getting punished and that is what happened.
We didn't deserve to lose the game and I thought the penalty was harsh but that's football.
Sometimes you play badly and win, other times you play well and lose – that's something that happens and there's not a lot you can do about it.
I thought the two new lads Mark Rawle and Stuart Nicholson had decent games for us.
They have not trained with the squad much so far so to come in and play the way they did was a credit to them.
They will both get better and better with the more minutes they have on the pitch and, likewise, we will get more of an understanding of them the more times we play alongside them.
Their arrivals certainly give the gaffer options especially with Nick Wright getting back to fitness as well.
And, of course, we will have Gareth Sheldon available on Saturday which is a huge boost for us.
We missed him on Saturday – any team would miss their top scorer.
It's not just his goals but his all round game that lifts the side and it'll be good to have him back in contention this weekend.
Vauxhall is a tough one for us because they are one of the form teams of the league at present.
It'll be a tough place to go but we just have to focus on the way we do things and if we play to our potential I'm sure we will be just fine.
