Illegal parkers are a pest

RE: THE letter in the Walsall Advertiser, June 18, regarding cars parked on the footpaths.

I live in Broad Lane, Bloxwich, and not a day or night passes that there are no cars parked on the footpaths.

The police drive up and down on a regular basis on their way to incidents but as far as I am aware no-one has ever been prosecuted. It does cause a problem for pedestrians especially for parents with pushchairs, disabled people on motorised scooters and also for the visually impaired. It seems to me that this is another law that is there but gets ignored.
