Masked gang robbery terror in Streetly
The five-man gang struck at 6.30am on Tuesday, January 26 at a house in Kingscroft Close.
They beat the victim, demanding the keys to his silver Audi A4 RS4 Quattro that had been parked on the drive.
Also in the house during the horrifying attack were the victim's wife and two children.
They were unharmed during the incident.
The man suffered a broken toe and cuts and bruises during his ordeal.
Detective Sergeant Rob Bastin from Walsall robbery team said: "The family were all just getting ready for the day ahead when these men forced their way into their home.
"It was a terrifying ordeal for the father, as well as his wife and children.
"Thankfully the man's injuries were not too severe, but the violence and nature of this attack does give us cause for concern.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area, maybe making their way to work on Tuesday morning, and saw anything suspicious."
The gang left the scene in the Audi, after the owner handed over the keys.
It was seen a short time later travelling, at speed, along Chester Road.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw the vehicle and its direction of travel.
The car was recovered from the Erdington area on Tuesday evening.
Anyone with information to help the police investigation is urged to contact the robbery team at Walsall police station on 0845 113 5000.
