Blues versus Wolves is the biggest game of the season
A win for Wolves would put some real distance between themselves and the teams below them, meaning everyone else would be chasing just the one automatic promotion spot.
Wolves have got the best front four in the division and stopping them is key for Birmingham.
Chris Iwelumo is 30 years of age, has been around the block a few times and is enjoying a really good spell for them.
Then Sylvan Ebanks-Blake, Andy Keogh and Michael Kightly are having magnificent seasons.
Our aim has to be to go there and not get beat, a point would be a good result for us.
If we do come away with a win, it would be a magnificent result.
Kevin Phillips is proving to be a fantastic signing for us.
I think one criticism of the Blues this season is we haven't scored enough goals, but Kev has knocked in a lot of winners and his quality will be crucial for us during the season.
He will be used sparingly but I can see him playing a key role on Saturday.
The result away at Swansea was massive as no-one has won there this season in the league and it was important to back that up with another three points against Ipswich on Tuesday.
But, for every win we seem to get, Wolves match it so we just have to keep on doing our best and hope they slip up along the way.
Lee Carsley went off with an injury on Tuesday and Alex McLeish will be sweating on his availability as he has the quality that is required for the big matches.
But it is very much a squad game these days and the Blues' strong squad will be put to the test.
It's a massive weekend for Blues and it is a game I am really looking forward to – it is by far the biggest game of the season so far.
