A club statement read: "Walsall Football Club can today confirm that the playing contract of Ishmel Demontagnac has been terminated.
"The decision has been taken as a result of a series of serious breaches of club discipline culminating in an incident at the weekend, which required the intervention of West Midlands Police and resulted in his subsequent arrest."
