Pics give fans the chance to get fix
Olympic, aware that local neighbours Walsall are without a game this weekend, are inviting all Saddlers fans to go along to Dales Lane for the visit of Shepshed Dynamo.
Rushall went top of the UniBond League Division One South on Tuesday night with a 2-0 victory at local rivals Willenhall Town.
Pics vice-chairman Nick Allen said: "We are proud of what we have achieved at Dales Lane. We are top of the table and play an attractive brand of football.
"Obviously we would like more people to come and see us play as every bit of support is vital.
"We are top of the table and looking for a promotion that would mean we are competing with teams like Boston United, Bradford Park Avenue and FC United of Manchester.
"We know a lot of local supporters of professional clubs look out for our results and we thought it is a great opportunity on Saturday for them to come and have a look at what's on offer. There has been very little football played in the borough for the last month because of the weather and also Walsall are without a game because of Leeds's involvement in the FA Cup.
"So if any local football supporter can bring along a ticket stub for any recent fixture for their club – or season ticket – they will be admitted for a fiver.
"Under-12s, as always here at Dales Lane, are admitted free with a paying adult."
Nick Allen has revealed a special offer for fans.
